Jeremy Voltz
Jeremy Voltz
Jeremy Voltz has been writing music, recording, and performing for 18 years throughout Canada, the U.S., and abroad. Known for his contemporary soul sound and huge voice, his songs bridge the gap between folk, rock, and soul. Growing up in Cleveland, Jeremy became a multi-instrumentalist and band-leader, first studying jazz drumming, then guitar, then piano, all the while honing the voice he is renowned for. Since moving to Toronto in 2007, Jeremy has immersed himself in the musical network of Toronto, from performing and collaborating with up and coming Canadian artists like Alysha Brilla, to sharing the bill with Canadian legends like April Wine.

Jeremy is a feature soloist for internationally-acclaimed vocal group “Countermeasure”, hot off a European tour, including a five-star sell-out run at the Edinburgh Fringe festival. With Countermeasure, he has performed numerous times at the Beaches Jazz Festival and the Sing! Toronto Vocal Arts Festival, and has shared the stage with Canadian superstars Corey Hart, Chantal Kreviazuk, Nikki Yanofsky, Glass Tiger, Matt Dusk, Kim Mitchell, and Blue Rodeo. He recently spent many hours in the studio working on Countermeasure's second album "Made to Measure", nominated for two Toronto Independent Music Awards.
