David Watt Besley
David Watt Besley
Originally from Virginia, David Watt Besley now makes his home in the Northern Florida historic town of St Augustine where he has become one of it's preeminent performers. A prolific and inspired singer/songwriter, he has recorded a dozen fine albums of his own music and is in the process of working on a new one. Songs like 'Goose Creek', 'The Legend of the Bunnyman', and 'Southern Sky' are steeped in the lore and history of The South. Grab a Sweet Iced Tea and have Dave and his guitar transport you to the land of sunshine and 'Shrimp and Grits'!
Laurence Stevenson is primarily a fiddler and has been part of the Toronto music scene since his involvement with Fiddler's Green Folk Club in the mid-'70's. In the intervening years, he has been involved in many bands and many styles of music but after retiring from his career at CBC, Laurence has become a 'snowbird'. On his first foray South, he met Dave and they've been playing together ever since.
