Shikha Sehgal
Shikha Sehgal
With the voice of an angel, Shikha was destined to shine bright in the world of music in Canada. At the tender age of 15 she was handpicked by Sony Music execs, out of hundreds in cast auditions to record professionally and collaborate with 4 time Juno award winning band Prozakk. From there, her journey took her to experiment and perform with a diverse range of musicians around the world including Grammy award winning group Digable Planets with whom she set out on tour in 2010, selling out shows across the U.S east coast.Having her debut performance at the largest art museum in Canada -- the Art Gallery of Ontario, she continues her journey as a musician by sharing her music all over the world including India, Australia, Ireland and Indonesia. Landing back in her hometown of Toronto soon after -- she furthered her journey collaborating with local and international artists all the while co-producing her solo album Coconut Mantra which was released in September 2015 followed by a cross Canada tour on the Via Rail in 2017. The album has won critical acclaim and can be found on Itunes, Amazon, Youtube and across the web. Her originality is expressed boldly through her eccentric musical taste and through a sincere desire to share simple melody

2019 marks Shikha's 20th anniversary as a singer/songwriter and remaining true to her voice, she continues to connect with audiences small and large delivering her soulful ballads without compromise.
