Joshua Jlatte Lopez
Joshua Jlatte Lopez is a 25 year old guitarist, vocalist and songwriter from the city of Toronto.

His first taste of the stage and the performing arts came at the young age as 4 as part of the Toronto run of the hit musical 'Miss Saigon', playing the role of Tam. Many years later as a student in high school he would come to discover his love for music, picking up bass, guitar, and singing. During his undergraduate studies at the University of Western Ontario as a Theology and Classical Studies student, he began to pursue music seriously and was soon playing in the bars and clubs around Southwestern Ontario with his group, the Li'l Blues Pill.

Influenced by the the greats of the blues guitar and the sounds of r&b, jazz, and world music, Jlatte's repertoire includes his own compositions as well as his own interpretations of tunes ranging from much loved standards all the way to the more obscure.

Over the course of his musical career he has played several roles: That of a frontman with his London, ON. Based ensemble the Li'l Blues Pill (nominated for a Jack Richardson Music Award in 2011 in the Blues/R&B Category), as well as a solo artist working with many of his talented musical peers in the city of Toronto. He has also played the role of a supporting sideman as a member of Toronto based Island Rock group BIOPIC (Guitar and Vocal) and
I. M. Brown (Bass, Guitar), also based in Toronto.

A believer in the spirit of musical and artistic collaboration, he can be found working with many different artists and songwriters both on stage, and in the studio.
