Lindsay Foote
Lindsay Foote
Lindsay Foote writes honest, soul-bearing music coupled with a voice that will melt even the hardest heart.

Inspired by the alternative folk music scene, Lindsay has been writing songs for as long as she can remember. Originally from Winchester, Massachusetts, she moved to Canada in 2009 to study voice at the University of Toronto. in 2009, she released an EP, A Better View, followed by a full solo album, From the Blue, in 2015.

Her newest release, Going Gone EP, features her five-piece folk band— Lindsay Foote & Company. Blurring the lines between folk, roots, and pop, Going Gone boasts lush acoustic arrangements paired with Lindsay's signature candid writing style. The songs explore love, loss, and facing the truth even in the toughest moments.

Going Gone has already garnered attention on the Folk circuit. “Silence” was featured on CBC Metro Morning. RAW RAMP Magazine calls these songs “the most celestial & moving folk songs you can imagine” and For the Rabbits calls it “the sound of an artist expanding their musical horizons and fulfilling a very rich promise.”
Angela Saini
Angela Saini
Whatever Angela Saini is doing, shes doing it right. Her attitude, style, body language and voice are so classy and feminine, yet so rock star at the same time. (Lithium Magazine -Vanessa Markov)

Toronto-based folk pop artist Angela Saini is all about second chances and empowering others. Her ability to combine humanistic and honest themes laden with catchy hooks and memorable melodies make her entertaining as well as relatable, two amazing qualities for any musician to have. With two European and four Canadian treks under her belt, BBC Radio is calling Angela Saini “massively talented” after the release of her sunshine-soaked single “Living on The Bright Side. “ Currently in rotation on the Pop Adult station on Stingray Digital across Canada, Angela was nominated for “Best Female Vocalist” in NOW Magazine Reader’s Choice Awards in 2015 and blogTO named her in their “Top 5 Folk Acts to Watch.”

The Calgary native got her guitar chops early on when she formed her first band at the age of 15, with her Austrian mother and Indian father driving her to gigs in bars before she was legally allowed to frequent them. She was the frontwoman of her high school rock band Supernal, which catapulted Angela to Toronto after 4 independent releases and thousands of kilometres touring. The rocker-turned-songstress released her first solo EP in 2012, after her refined songwriting skills and natural vocal ability got the attention of Tragically Hip drummer Johnny Fay. Demos together became pre-production for “Cake and Callouses” and shortly after, her second EP “Leap” was released in 2013. Her latest single “Here I Go Again” shares her journey as a musician and her genuinely positive outlook, with heartfelt lyrics that reflect her life-affirming perspective: the road may be untraveled, but you’ll never know if you don’t take a chance.
Rebecca Lappa
Rebecca Lappa
Rebecca Lappa may have been Canada's best kept folk-rock secret - until now. The Canadian Folk Music Awards recipient and Edmonton Music Awards winner is Canada's brightest new voice.

The Edmonton based singer-songwriter recently earned top prize for her song, "Valiant of Vimy Ridge" in the Spirit of Vimy contest hosted by the Lieutenant Governor of Alberta. Rebecca recently took her prize trip to Vimy Ridge (2017) to mark the centennial of the First World War battle. No stranger to winning awards or being sought after for stages often reserved for those of tenure, anyone that knows Rebecca has experienced and witnessed greatness in the making. While her music is a combination of folk, roots and rock, there's "that" voice - compelling in range, certain with every note - and her lyrics - strong, thought provoking, storytelling in nature and sometimes peppered with wit.

Having received a Factor Juried Sound Recording grant for her current album, Rebecca teamed up with JUNO-winning producer Russell Broom and created "Reckless Heart." Debuting at # 1 on CJSR's Top 30 and #10 on iTunes Singer/Songwriter Album chart (November 2016), "Reckless Heart" continued to chart on many other stations including 5 weeks on CILU Thunder Bay's Top 10 Folk/Roots/Blues Chart. Mike Ross of Gigcity stated, "The singing is the true knock-out here, the passion of Sheryl Crow with the sensitivity of Sarah McLachlan," . Russell Broom captured a nomination for Producer of the Year for "Reckless Heart" at the 2017 Western Canada Music Awards.
