Marcus Starr
Marcus Starr
Marcus Starr's debut album displays both his Southern musical influences and his deep connection to American roots music. With songs such as ‘Let My Blues Take Your Blues Away’, ‘Fell in Mud’ and ‘Lit’ it should come as no surprise that Marcus Starr is emerging as a compelling and rousing guitarist and singer-songwriter.
Marcus has been an avid player on Southern Ontario's music scene for eight years, having played lead guitar with Radio Free Universe from 2010-2016, and has earned a reputation as being an exciting and dynamic performer. During this time, Marcus had always made clear his connection with roots, blues and country music with the various side projects he has performed with. Currently, Marcus Starr is performing solo acoustic shows, duets (w/ Cesar Manos) and with The Marcus Starr Band and is planning to go back into the recording studio in early August.
There is a place where all the elements of roots music can meet and flourish and it is a powerful and compelling place to be. This is a place Marcus Starr's music will take its listeners to.

August Knight
Born Timothy Craig Knight, Canadian singer/songwriter August Knight acquired his first guitar at the age of 10 and by 15 began writing songs influenced by the likes of Bob Dylan, John Prine, Kris Kristofferson and Neil Young… all of which continued to influence his songwriting style. After taking a brief sabbatical to launch an Internet and publishing business, Knight returned to the craft of writing songs and began playing his own material in the local bars.

Now with years entertainment ‘industry’ experience, countless TV and radio appearances and an earned maturity, Knight began reassessing his career and decided the time was right to focus on music and acting.

Knight is currently writing and recording new material for his soon to be released CD.
